1. CONTENT MARKETING

Content marketing is marketing that focuses on creating valuable and relevant content to attract and engage a target audience. Essentially finding a niche or relevant group and creating a marketing campaign around that topic. Tools for this include blog posts, videos and infographics anything that is created for your topic and is used to drive organic traffic. Content marketing and the creation of this content is the first step to creating a valuable and ongoing digital presence. Also this can be achieved through printed materials including flyers, signage and educational informational flyers or pamphlets .

Benefit to your business? A tech company focuses on creating valuable and relevant content to attract and engage a target audience, CONTENT MARKETING. This included blog posts, videos, infographics and more. This blog and video they create about the tech industry draws organic views to their website and positions them as a thought leader in the industry.

In the digital world there are only TWO types of traffic that your content marketing will have people view/come to it;

ORGANIC TRAFFIC and PAID traffic.

No traffic jams right now ;)

ORGANIC WEB TRAFFIC is the amount of users that have found your page by using S.E.O / search engines like google, bing or yahoo or the blog, infographic on your brands website. PPC ads are not organic traffic either. Organic traffic, on the other hand, refers to the traffic that comes to your website through unpaid means, such as SEO, social media posts, or content marketing. Organic traffic tends to be more sustainable than paid traffic because it is not reliant on advertising spend like PPC or Paid Traffic. A downside to this is it can take time to build a loyal and steady flow of organic traffic.

PAID TRAFFIC Paid traffic refers to any traffic that comes to your website through paid advertising. This can include PPC ads, social media ads, display ads, and more. These types of campaigns typically require larger budgets but allow more specfic searching to target audiences through defined key words.

2. SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

The main tools used here are all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) Tiktok, Youtube, and Snapchat. Going "viral" is the hope for businesses using social media marketing as well as to reach people, gain a loyal following for their product or business and influence potential customers to buy via social media posts, reels and other content made for these platforms.

Benefit to your business? An slime company makes a video about the slime and how well they can scoop their new slimes and rate the ability to scoop the slime. The slime shop uses social media to create buzz about their latest product drops by rating them and making them known via posts on social media. People also tend to find these videos satisfying and can see the product in use creating most of these slime shops to be sold out. (Seriously! look at any slime shop on instagram with a 10-15k+ following and they will sell out in minutes after restock!!) CRUMBL cookies also does something similar by announcing their weekly cookie offering via social and running a giveaway for reposting the weekly flavors.

3. INFLUENCER MARKETING

Influencer marketing partners with social media influencers both macro (large following) and micro (smaller following) in their "niche" or area to promote products or service to their engaged and "loyal" followers. For health, wellness, and beauty there is typically a lot of opportunity here.

Benefit to your business? A beauty brand collabs with a beauty influencer to review or endorse their product to get it in front off a wider audience and create better sales for the brand.

4. S.E.O.

SEO is a process of optimizes a website's content and structure to rank higher in search engine results, driving organic traffic. By using keywords and custom URLs more pages of the company website are indexed onto search engines like Google and have the ability to then be ranked higher and more easily searched for with additional key words.

Business Examples? A local bakery implements SEO strategies to appear in the top results when people search for "best pastries in [city]," attracting more foot traffic to their store. The conversion rate for those searching within 5 miles of a specific place and visiting that place and buying something if can be found online is over 70%. Each day more and more searches are being conducted for businesses of all kinds. You should always have a small online presence using these FREE tools as explained in this article here; https://www.billionairellc.biz/post/template-the-ultimate-guide-to-writing-the-ultimate-guide

the stats are crazy for just using those free two tools!!!

5. PAY PER CLICK (PPC) ADS

SEO optimizes a website's content and structure to rank higher in search engine results, driving organic traffic. Google Ads is one of the best structured tools to find sales and analytics to determine what PPC is the best and to copy those key words and formulas moving forward. Another type of PPC is also used with S.E.O indexing and sometimes even with influencer agreements so dont be surprised if you hear this in other marketing contexts especially when discussing payment structures. PPC is a way people can show businesses they can market their product without the business having to risk not having a high enough conversion rate.

Benefit to your business? A software company uses PPC advertising to target users searching for software solutions, driving immediate traffic to their website and generating leads, they set a daily or month budget via google ads to track and manage the budget per click.

6. EVENT MARKETING; Sampling of Product (On and Off Premise)

Typically reserved for liquor companies products are sampled to customers in person where they are then encouraged by the sampler to buy. Samplings can be anywhere from inside a liquor store to inside grocery stores and even local and regional bars!

Business Examples? Many brands got their foot holds in the market this way, think Red Bull or Budweiser Beer, who doesnt love a free sample? How often have you been in a local store and gotten a free sample and ended up buying the product or atleast learning more about it?

7. GUERRILLA MARKETING

Guerrilla marketing employs unconventional and attention-grabbing tactics to create buzz and brand awareness, this can take place at popular events by having teams walk through the event with flyers, or can be done with people walking through large traffic areas capturing leads or data with tablets. This gets people talking face to face about your brand or product.

Business Examples? An energy drink company holds a event at a tailgate giving out free samples. OR A small coffee shop organizes a flash mob event into the downtown area to draw a crowd and created social media buzz leading to their increased foot traffic.

(Something we love to help do! at Billionaire Assets!)

8. AFFILIATE MARKETING

Affiliate marketing involves partnering with affiliates who promote a company's products or services and earn a commission for each sale. The larger the commission the more appealing your program will be to affiliates. Affiliates often use sites like pintrest and Etsy to help sell products for your business.

Business Examples? An online book retailer enlists bloggers and websites to promote their books, expanding their reach and only paying for actual sales generated. OR Clothing store has a program that allows you to pick items and sell them using a unique link given when signing up for their affiliate program. '

9. EVENT MARKETING (Conventions/Shows)

Event marketing includes sponsoring or hosting events to connect with the target audience and showcase products or services. Also included could be a convention for your specific brand or product. For example each year CES meets to bring the latests in technology, the SEMA convention is about all things automotive. There are a lot of specific trade shows that connect the business and the buyer to generate sales for your company. These events are typically higher budget and require at least 6 months to a year of planning time. Other types of events include sponsoring or hosting events to connect with the target audience for the product.

Business Examples? When a sports brand sponsored the local 5k they saw community support. OR a local radio station hosts a holiday toy drive OR a cancer hospital has a yearly 5k and 10k marathon that closes down the downtown area, creating buzz and drawing in businesses to sponsor and build their brands

10. EMAIL MARKETING

Email marketing involves sending targeted emails to prospects and customers to nurture relationships, promote products, and drive conversions. Email marketing also includes ensuring emails are reaching people and not being directed into spam folders. To be able to gather anayalatics on what emails are getting people to respond/interact VS which are not. Ensuring that mass email marketing campaigns are created and sent out properly and frequently to any data base of information business has access too.

Business Examples? An e-commerce store sends personalized product recommendations to past customers, increasing repeat purchases and customer loyalty. OR Zillow the home buying site will send out email blasts showing homes for rent or for sale in your area (even if you are or are not looking) OR a department store sends out an email with a special discount code promoting their "semi annual sale"
