Located on the main walk of Al Pastor Diaz in Jaco Beach, here are a few reasons why this should be one of your must stop places while in Jaco! Below are our reasons and perks we found while visiting the NEW Rhythmos Sports Bar and Restaurant in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica! We found this to be one of the best bars in Jaco. We will tell you why Rhythmos is one of the best bars in Jaco, Costa Riva!
Newley remodeled property that has gorgeous on-site art, painted by local artists!
The newly remodeled RHYTHMOS has beautiful indoor seating with gorgeous murals painted on the walls by local Tico (Costa Rican) artists. We love the sign that take a play off the infamous welcome to Las Vegas sign! Check out the just one of the many beautiful murals below;
2. In door or out door seating, with LOTS of nice perks that can be hard to find in Costa Rica!
If indoor seating in the new A/C that was put in during the remodel of RHYTHMOS is not what you are seeking then don't worry! There are also two outdoor sitting areas including "the backyard" and "the jungle room".
We'll break down both. First the back yard is the back patio seating where an additional 8 tables can sit and enjoy the delicious food and eats. Dont be surprised if you see wildlife in the river across the way. We saw monkeys and even a croc while we were in the RHYTHMOS backyard!! Also scarlet macaws are often seen flying over.
The Jungle room is an area of private seating with amazing lighting at night, perfect for any type of event or private dinner. It is truly the jungle room that hangs out over the same river mentioned above wher crocs, monkeys and toucans can all be seen! Another nice perk of both these areas for our tourist or even local guests who smoke, smoke is allowed in the backyard area of the property. Most locations restrict smoking in Costa Rica so we also found this to be a major perk of the outdoor seating at Rhythmos.
3. AMAZING Staff and service at the establishment.
ESPECIALLY FOR OUR SPECIAL EVENT!
When you are on vacation it is not often that you will return to a restaurant you have already eaten at. However the vibes at Rhythmos and the mixologist craft drinks using fresh fruit. There is also a full menu for lunch and dinner. It is truly a delicious chef designed menu leaves little to be desired. Also you can catch amazing live music acts here through out the year and that just really kept us wanting to the keep the party rolling at Rhythmos. During our 5 day stay in Jaco we found ourself at Rhythmos 3 different days. Also to my delight my delicious piña coladas had an awesome blue liquor swirled through it. It was so tasty!!! I am still craving one as I write this. The staff were fun, friendly, and eager to help at anytime. The atmosphere was always great in the three nights we were at Rhythmos. They also helped us celebrate a birthday and hung up banners, did decorations that we provided and went above and beyond to create a memorable experience. The staff here truly care and it shows through every aspect.
4. Live Music! And Sporting Events!
To round out the many reasons why you should stop by Rhythmos is the live music. They have awesome acts playing usually during the weekend. They also have DJ's and special music theme nights. Check their social media on instagram @rhythmos_sportsbar to get the latest updates. Also they have some great TVs. This was another thing were Rhythmos stood out was having a great sports bar atmosphere. We were eating dinner during a soccer match where Costa Rica was playing and the energy was so amazing we found ourselves cheering along!
So to wrap it all up next time your in Jaco beach Costa Rica make sure you stop by Rhythmos for lunch, dinner, or some amazing live music or maybe all three, no matter what you can't go wrong from sitting inside with the beautiful locally painted murals, to enjoying the backyard outdoor seating area or the jungle room. RHYTHMOS is definetly our new favorite place to grab some eats, see a show or even sports game while in Jaco!
